GLENN LIM (M.Soc.Sc, M.Ed, Dip Ed Psych, DACE), is the Founder-CEO of GLC Pte Ltd. He is a professional speaker / trainer, adjunct lecturer, organisational consultant, and curriculum developer.
He is also the founder of organizations like Architects of Life,Empower Academy, Empowered Parenting, Seed Collective etc, which serves the corporate, community and social services sectors.
A highly sought after keynote speaker at many local and regional conferences, his training sessions are known to be dynamic, engaging and inspiring. Glenn has trained at many settings conducting workshops for corporate leaders, executives, trainers, and educators. As a curriculum design specialist, he develops training programs for a variety of human services needs and skills training.
Glenn was a former Commonwealth Youth Ambassador (ASEAN) and Youth Ambassador (Republic of Singapore). A multi-award winner, he has won the Singapore Youth Award 2005, the Outstanding Young Singaporean Award 2006, the ASEAN Youth Award 2006, the distinguished Outstanding Young Person of the World Award 2007, and the Asian Challengers and Mentors ‘Most Inspiring Mentor’ Award 2008.
Glenn advises and serves on various national initiatives, like the National Youth Mentoring Committee, Scape Programming Committee, National Youth Council, National Arts Council, ASEAN Youth Festival, Yellow Ribbon Project, and also serves as a Board Director in 6 charities and non-profit organisations. He has been consulted and worked with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (then MCYS), Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Education. He was the consulting trainer for Social Services Institute, National Council of Social Services and is consulted upon by VWOs and FSCs.
As a thought-leader, Glenn is often engaged in his capacity as a subject expert in media interviews. His views have been featured in all local tabloids, major radio stations and publications. He has been interviewed on television talk shows like Talking Point, Singapore Talking, Prime Time Morning, Get Real, BlogTV etc; and has been featured in a variety of television programs. Glenn’s story has also been made into a short film “Green Grass” in 2005. Glenn also published his autobiographical book titled “Wake-Up Call” in 2008.
He has also been consulted for leadership and training in Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam and India. In recent years, Glenn has been busy developing curriculum focusing on capacity-building, and training trainers and leaders.
